Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is the modern method of abusing someone usually occurring in grade and high school. In the article, "Warily, Schools Watch Students on the Internet," there is a case where a 12 year old girl from Florida committed suicide after much abuse and bullying by two other classmates. After the suicide, one of the girls had the audacity to Facebook post about the death. Obviously, the two classmates were arrested after the comment. Schools want to use the internet themselves to stop cyberbullying, but I honestly don't believe that bullying in general will end. Sure, kids will learn the lesson to stop abusing others online. What are they going to do? I'll tell you. They will take whoever they want to bully and do it in person. There are no federal laws about bullying until it reaches a certain extent (usually physical abuse). Kids will just be more cautious while bullying. Hopefully an answer to the question of how to stop bullying will be found soon because kids continue to take their lives because of inconsiderate others.
